John Mathew

John Mathew, who hails from Trivandrum, Kerala, is an Associate Professor at Krea University, where he chairs the Division of the Humanities and the Social Sciences, and leads courses in the Biological Sciences, Environmental Studies, and History. He holds doctoral degrees in the Ecological Sciences from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, and the History of Science from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts. John completed his
Bachelors, Masters and M.Phil in Zoology at the Madras Christian College, Madras/Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He also holds a Master's degree in Medical Anthropology from Harvard. He has taught at Harvard University, the University of Massachusetts, Boston, Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, India. Apart from his scholastic work, he works on campus with the university choir, which
he helped to found, as well as with theatrical productions."
